IV SEDATION DENTISTRY
WHAT IS IV SEDATION DENTISTRY?
During IV Sedation, medicine is given to you through an IV by our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and customized to each patient’s needs. This ensures relief to patients who harbor anxieties about going to the dentist. By using a CRNA, we are able to provide a deeper level of IV sedation close to unconsciousness. Every patient experiences a blissful, anxiety-free visit with IV sedation and finds confidence to keep returning to the dentist for optimal dental health.
Other dental offices offer sedation in the form of a pill, nitrous oxide or “laughing gas”, or a shot. Our IV Sedation procedure is a safer and truly pain-free. You will literally sleep through your appointment.
Did You Know…
Nearly half of the adult population in the US has true dental fear or dental phobia?
IV SEDATION AT IOWA SEDATION DENTISTRY
The type of IV Sedation used in our office is unique. It is the only true form of dentistry that is painless and reproducible on any patient.
Our highly trained CRNAs will put you into a deep sleep that allows Dr. Binkowski to work efficiently and safely while you sleep to complete ALL your dental care in ONE appointment.
Even our most anxious patients fall asleep which allows all dental work to be completed in ONE visit.
Many offices in the state advertise “sedation dentistry” or “painless dentistry” without using IV SEDATION. It is simply not possible or safe. Even if IV sedation is offered and the general dentist is the one administering it, it is not the same type of IV sedation we use.
